Australia’s ongoing plans to ramp up natural gas exploration and production activities to supply existing and future liquefaction capacity are aimed at capturing profit opportunities in the Asian market driven by rapidly growing energy demand. Today, the Asian market pays a price that’s roughly 50% more for LNG than the North American market pays.
